Governor of Marib General Sultan al-Arrada, received a delegation of the Center for Civilians in Armed Conflict (CIVIC), headed by the director of organization's branch in Yemen Nadwa al-Dawsari, on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the governor heard from the director about the activities and functions of the organization as well as the programs and services it can offer in Marib governorate.
Al-Arrada also welcomed the work of Civic and all the projects that would enhance the institutional building and community development, stressing that the local authority will provide all facilities for the activities of the Organization.
For her part, the director of the organization in Yemen Nadwa al-Dawsari expressed her happiness to meet the governor Sultan Al-Arrada, pointing out the projects that will improve the protection of civilians in conflicts, providing advice, technical support and assistance for the development of local authorities and improving their efficiency in dealing with civilians.
