The Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Major General Sultan al-Arada, presided over an expanded meeting of leaders and personnel from the judicial authority in Marib Governorate. The meeting aimed to discuss the state of the courts, the challenges they face, and potential solutions.
During the meeting, Maj. Gen. al-Arada emphasized the pivotal role of the judicial authority in implementing the legal system and upholding the rule of law. He also stressed the importance of resolving disputes, ensuring justice among the people, and fostering confidence in the judiciary and state institutions. He commended the recent significant achievements of the judicial system in Marib Governorate, encouraging further efforts to expedite pending cases.
The Vice President also instructed to complete construction projects for for judicial buildings and the modernization of infrastructure to meet the demands of the large population density.
He emphasized the PLC's commitment to providing all necessary support to judicial institutions, facilitating their work, and improving the conditions of the staff, while upholding the principle of separation of powers and respecting the independence of the judiciary.
