ICRC interventions in Mareb discussed

 Deputy Governor of Mareb Abd-RabbuMiftah discussed on Monday with the delegation of the International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC), .headed by Assistant of the head of ICRC's Mission in Mareb Saleh al-Hadi, interventions and aid to the province

The meeting tackled future cooperation between ICRC and the local authority.

Miftah was briefed by the visiting delegation carrying out training courses in field of first aid to 90 trainers divided on four groups, in addition to the committee's readiness for providing shelters and food aid to displaced people to Mareb province during the forthcoming weeks.

He valued assistances provided by the organization to displaced people here, hoping for more support and called the committee and other international organizations to open branches in Mareb.

He confirmed that the local authority will provide all facilitations and care to the organizations to practice their duties freely.

For his part, the head of the ICRC's delegation al-Hadi expressed thanks to local authority for its cooperation with the organization and easing its duties.
He also valued the humanitarian situation of the authority for protecting all aid and food assistances conveys.
