With Participation of 32 Horsemen, Equestrian Championship Launched in Marib

 Equestrian championship, organized by the Youth and Sports Office with the support of the local authority, was inaugurated on Saturday in Marib governorate with the participation of 32 horsemen.

At the opening of the championship, the deputy governor of Marib for administrative affairs, Abdullah al-Bakri and the director of Marib city district, Mohammad Saleh Farhan, stressed the importance of reviving such qualitative sporting events in the governorate and the diversity of tournaments and youth and cultural events which taking place within the framework of celebration of the national holidays ,the September 26 ^th and October 14 ^th revolutions ,as well as Independence Day.

They noted that this championship is one of the sporting events that reflect in one aspect the local folk traditions of the ancestors and their interests, in addition to strengthening the national identity .
