Marib police seize 175 kg of hashish

Security apparatus of Marib governorate seized on Tuesday a quantity of hashish at a checkpoint on the road linking Marib and al-Baydha.
Marib police chief brigadier Abdul-Malik al-Madani said security forces seized 175 kg hashish hidden on a truck laden with potatoes and tomatoes.

Al-Madani appraises the efforts and high alertness of the security forces as well as their great successes in thwarting frequent smuggling operations carried out by Houthi coup militia, valuing the cooperation of Marib people with police.

Noteworthy , Marib police had managed to foil multiple smuggling attempts over the last three years ,particularly since the Houthi Iran-Backed militia coup against the State and its institutions.
