Representatives of five Turkish organizations operate in humanitarian and relief actions arrived in Marib on Wednesday on a visit to the governorate aimed to find out first-hands information about humanitarian situations and the needs of IDPs and refugees.
The deputy governor of Marib Dr Abd-Rabbu Miftah received the Turkish delegation.
The delegation included representatives of the Turkish Relief Commission, Al-Haq Society for Humanitarian Relief, Arrebat Turkish Association, Aider Society and Efad Association.
The Turkish delegation stated that they want offer humanitarian aids and projects to help the Internally Displaced Peoples (IDPS) and refugees such as food, health care, shelter stuff and cleaning water.
They underscored the need for coordination with local authority and local organizations to carry out the humanitarian projects in the governorate.
Dr Miftah has welcomed the Turkish delegation, promising all necessary help by local authority.
