The Deputy Governor of Marib Abd Rabbu Miftah, discussed with the director of MSF-Holland mission in Yemen and the director of Humanitarian Affairs at the organization’s office strengthening the humanitarian partnership between the organization and the local authority.
The Deputy Governor expressed his hope that the interventions and programs will expand to target the displaced in the southern districts of the governorate, where the humanitarian organizations’ role is absent.
He said that the local authority will continue to provide facilitations to the organization to strengthen humanitarian partnership and boost the humanitarian aid to the IDPs and host communities, especially in light of the massive Houthi military escalations especially the intensive armed drone and ballistic missile shelling on residential neighborhoods in the densely populated capital of Marib province
