Wethaq Foundation for Civil Orientation has launched a training course for the parents and guardians of children traumatized either because of participating in or witnessing the armed conflict.
The NGO launched the training course for several parents from different provinces in Marib on Saturday.
Funded by King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, the course aims to raise parent's awareness about the violations child fighters may commit or be committed against them as well as about the international Convention on the Rights of the Child.
In tandem with this training 26 traumatized children from Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Amran, Hajjjah and Marib are receiving a rehabilitation course in Marib.
