Twenty five civil society organizationsworking have submitted to the delegation of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) who visited the city of Marib on Tuesday a formal collective plea to open a branch office in the government-held province.
They requested that all the United Nations humanitarian organizations open branch offices.
The plea was submitted during a meeting between the CSOs and the OCHA delegation.
The CSOs said that they absolutely reject of that the international organizations offices in Marib remain affiliate to main offices in the Houthi rebels-held Sana'a. They said that the current situation has led to ignoring the humanitarian crisisin Marib and depriving thousands of persons displaced by the rebels from the most simplesthumanitarian aid.
