Deputy Governor of Marib criticizes int’l organizations’ silence on Houthi crimes against children

The Deputy Governor of Marib Dr. Aburabu Miftah has criticized the international organizations’ silence on the crimes committed by Houthi militia against the childhood as well as their recruitment of children.

 This came during the ceremony held in the city of Marib at the conclusion of the 5 ^th and 6 ^th stages of the rehabilitation of ex- child soldiers and war-traumatized children in Yemen, the project implemented by Wethaq Foundation for Civil Orientation with support from King Salman Humanitarian and Relief Center(KSrelief) .

Dr. Miftah called all organizations in the Houthi-held areas to stand up for violated children’s rights and put more pressure on Houthi militia for stopping the recruitment and the use of children as soldiers .

The Deputy appreciated the support of (KSrelief) for this humanitarian worthwhile project aimed at rehabilitating and integrating war-traumatized children into the society .
